Leagues IV - Trailblazer Reloaded (2024)

It's the moment you've been waiting for since early 2022... Leagues is back!

Leagues IV - Trailblazer Reloaded (1)
Blog Update: Tuesday, November 21st

Update, 15:50 GMT, November 21st: We've hotfixed the Muspah drop table, Revenant drop table & the drop rates of the Revenant Weapon upgrades, Gout Tuber, Voidwaker pieces, Shade Scrolls, Zealot Outfit and the Holy Elixir to correctly apply your Leagues drop table modifier.

Update, 16:30 GMT, November 20th: We've hotfixed the Leagues drop rates for Revenant weapons and some Phantom Muspah uniques. Slayer task modifiers should now correctly apply to the Revenant weapons (on top of your Leagues drop modifiers) and drop modifiers should apply correctly to the Phantom Muspah.

Note: This week's game update will take place on Thursday, November 23rd instead of the usual Wednesday update. This is to allow us more time to develop more significant fixes.

To say that Trailblazer Reloded has exceeded our expectations would be the understatement of the century! We're over the moon to see so many of you (literally more than ever before) enjoying Leagues and ticking off tasks 'til the cows come home.

To paraphrase another trailblazer: with great popularity comes great responsibility. With that in mind, we'd like to give you all a quick update on outstanding issues that we're working on fixes for so that you know what's being adjusted and can plan ahead for any tasks or activities you might have been putting off for the time-being. The majority of these are things we're hoping to fix alongside this week's game update, though some might need a little more time before we're able to adequately fix them and feature in next week's game update instead.

Upcoming changes, working to fix as many as possible this week

  • Players receiving Emote clue steps requiring items that aren't obtainable within their region. Additionally, other steps (some Fairy Ring and Falo clues, for example) that weren't completable should be receiving fixes too.
  • 'Receive a Magic seed from a bird's nest' task not completing properly.
  • Players who select the Farmer's Fortune relic can't complete the task for casting Ressurect crops and protecting crops. The task will complete when you attempt to perform that action following a fix, even if you're unable to benefit from the action.
  • Players obtaining pets from Tombs of Amascut or the Desert Treasure II bosses aren't receiving completion for the 'Receive a Boss pet' task. This will also complete retroactively for players who've already obtained a pet from any of the impacted content.
  • Colossal Hydras aren't providing Slayer points to players with the Bloodthirsty relic when killed.
  • Bloodthirsty feels pretty underwhelming in some regions, we're looking to add some low level superiors (e.g. Bloodvelds) into some regions' Slayer task lists to alleviate this. For example, players with Kandarin unlocked can kill Bloodvelds but cannot be assigned them without Morytania, we'll be looking to update some of these instances.
  • Add a toggle to Infernal Gathering for instances where players want to keep more resources. You'll still benefit from the speed, but be able to disable the 'burning' effect.
  • Some Pyramid Plunder 'killcount' tasks not updating correctly. These will be completed retroactively once fixed.
  • Enchanted bolt special effects don't apply healing via the Soul Stealer relic.
  • Ghosts Ahoy is auto-completed with a Fremennik region unlock, but doesn't complete the corresponding task.
  • Client of Kourend is auto-completed with a Fremennik region unlock, but doesn't complete the corresponding task.
  • Granite Maul special attacks aren't hitting as intended.
  • Trailblazer tools are weaker than intended on the Path of Het inside Tombs of Amascut.
  • The task for completing Elemental Workshop I will be removed, since this task is auto-completed during the Leagues Tutorial and cannot be completed by players.
  • Sulliuscep mushroom caps are rarer than intended due to multipliers boosting other drops.

That's all we've got so far, but we're always on the lookout for any more feedback and issues so if you've run into any roadblocks that aren't listed here, let us know and we'll get working on fixing them as soon as possible!

Now get back to gaming, those League Points aren't gonna earn themselves!

Tasks

To unlock regions and gain more Relics, you’ll need League Points – and to get League Points, you’ll need to complete some tasks. These fun challenges are scattered relatively evenly across all available areas – so feel free to pick your favourites!

We’ve teamed up with the OSRS Wiki team to bring you the entire task list on one incredibly useful page. This makes it easy to plan your route and choose your Relics to suit your favourite tasks – remember, strategy is key!

Relics

Choosing a Tier 1 Relic is the first decision you’ll need to make. These powerful items bestow all kinds of helpful buffs and boons – but choose wisely, because they’re permanent!

To help you out, here’s a rundown of the Tier 1 Relics:

Endless Harvest

  • 2x resources gathered from Fishing, Woodcutting and Mining. Bonus resources provide bonus XP.
  • Resources gathered by this Relic are sent directly to your Bank if there’s space. Otherwise, they are placed in your Inventory.
  • Items that normally can’t be banked will be placed into your Inventory regardless of how much space you have.

Production Prodigy

  • When doing the following activities, all items are processed at once:
    • Smelting ores, Smithing bars and making Cannonballs.
    • Fletching logs, stringing Bows and cutting bolt tips.
    • Cleaning herbs and making Potions which don’t have a stackable secondary ingredient.
    • Cooking food and making Jugs of Wine.
    • Crafting leather, uncut gems, glassblowing, jewellery, pottery, Battlestaves and spinning flax or wool.
  • You’ll receive full XP for all items processed using this Relic.
  • There’s a 25% chance that you’ll make an extra product, which will be sent straight to your Bank! This additional product will also earn you XP.
  • Crafting, Smithing, Herblore, Fletching and Cooking are all boosted by +12.

  • Trickster

    • You will automatically re-pickpocket your target.
    • Loot from pickpocketing is doubled and noted.
    • Coin pouch limit is multiplied by 3.
    • You’ll be given the Sage’s Greaves, that grant Agility XP that scales with your Agility level while running.
    • Box traps lure creatures faster.
    • Loot from box traps is doubled.
    • Impling jars can’t break.
    • You can burn up to nine logs simultaneously.
    • You can’t fail actions for Thieving, Agility, Hunter and Firemaking.

Pretty cool, huh? Well, that’s only the first three! You can find information about every single Relic over on the OSRS Wiki – or, you can keep it a surprise and discover the others as you rise through the ranks.

Alternatively, you can check out this jam-packed infographic (once again, made by GentleTractor) to refer back to while you're progressing!

    Rewards and Trophies

League Points aren’t just for new areas and Relics - you’ll be able to spend them on some fiery new rewards, too! From the hottest fits to the coveted League banner, from new animations to ornament kits – the Leagues Rewards Shop has it all.

As well as a new range of Trailblazer Reloaded-themed cosmetics, you can also purchase all the rewards you missed from previous Leagues. Likewise, if you have Points left over from previous Leagues, you can still spend them on new rewards!

Here's a sneak-peak at some of the animation overrides on offer this League!

To get your mitts on the goods, just hop back to the main game and speak to the Leagues Tutor in Catherby.

Please note that he’ll need a bit of time to set up his wares – to avoid nasty bugs, we’re not allowing players to purchase items from the Leagues Reward Store, or claim Trophies, until a couple of days after the League launches.

Speaking of Trophies, we’ve made some big changes this year! Our new static point threshold approach to HiScores ensures that you can be certain exactly how many League Points you need to earn each Trophy. Just like previous Leagues, there’s a Trophy for each tier on the HiScores, from basic Bronze all the way up to the coveted Dragon tier.

To make it even easier to see where you stack up, we’ve added the exact Point thresholds to your in-game Leagues menu. Take a peek!

Well, it seems we’ve nothing further to tell you. It’s time for you to gear up, put on your travellin’ boots, and head out into the wild world of Leagues IV: Trailblazer Reloaded. We can’t wait to see where you’ll go! Good luck – and have fun!
